Business at heart

Horsens is among the leaders in logistics, technology and knowledge-based industries in Denmark. The city is home to Dansk AMP, the Danish stock exchange for SME’s, as well as the OTC, the only Danish market place for trading unlisted shares.

Located in the heart of Denmark, Horsens is an ideal hub for logistics and transportation – both nationally and internationally. In recent years, the region has experienced an explosive business growth, making it one of the biggest and most important distribution centres in Denmark. Moreover, one of Europe's most significant transportation and logistics companies has chosen Horsens as the logistic centre of its activities.

The E45 motorway runs right by and connects Horsens with major European cities. Also, the city is just a 45 minute drive from Billund international airport - the second largest airport in Denmark, with daily flights to all the major cities in Europe including London, Paris, Amsterdam, Brussels, Frankfurt, Rome, Milan, Oslo, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Helsinki, and Riga.
Billund Airport also has the ‘Cargo Center Billund’, which offers you a shortcut to the dynamic business regions in Northern Germany and throughout Scandinavia.

Furthermore, the port of Horsens is equipped for smooth and efficient coaster traffic. The container terminals of Aarhus and Hamburg can be reached within 40 minutes and 3 hours, respectively. In addition, the deep-sea port of Fredericia is only 45 minutes away.
